The Retired Greyhound Trust was founded in 1974. They are the only National charity with the sole objective of finding homes for ex-racing greyhounds. The Trust has homed over £45,000 greyhounds so far. In 2007 the Trust homed nearly 4,500, however there are 10,000 retired greyhounds deserving a loving home every year.

Fundraising Project

Not everyone can adopt a greyhound but you can still help them to enjoy their retirement. Because the Retired Greyhound Trust will never destroy a healthy greyhound, we have some who'll stay at our kennels for a long time, often older dogs having trouble finding a home. Would you consider sponsoring one of our longstayers?
